One of Mycoboutique's qualified team members will share her expertise and passion for mushroom cultivation. You will learn about the life cycle of mycelium and its role in nature. You will also discover how to cultivate mushrooms indoors in buckets and bags, and outdoors on logs, in flower beds, and in gardens for the main cultivated species. We will cover the cultivation of oyster mushrooms, shiitake, lion's mane, wine cap, morel, and other varieties. What are the recommended substrates? How can yields be increased? How can you keep predators away? Proper maintenance procedures are all topics that will be discussed.
The workshop is followed by a practical exercise and the participants leave with mycelium.
NOTE: The workshop will be given in French but the instructor is bilingual and will be able to answer questions in English.
