Using Saint Laurent salt, which is harvested from the deep waters of the Saint-Lawrence estuary, this all-purpose product was created to highlight the properties of Nordic and Quebec Boreal spices – as well as to elevate the flavour of meats, poultry, fish, seafood, and vegetables: in other words, it’s good on just about everything!
The inclusion of wild porcini mushrooms from Gaspe and seaweed from the Saint Lawrence, infuses the salt with a generous dose of umami, whereas the maple sugar harmoniously blends the unique flavours of this Nordic salt, which is composed almost entirely of local aromatics.
