Porcini French toast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 thick slices of homemade bread
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Whipped cream to taste

Preparation

Beat eggs , milk, porcini powder, 2 tsp syrup and a pinch of salt together . Dip the bread until well soaked .

Heat oil in skillet. When hot depositing the sliced bread. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes on each side .

Serve warm with whipped cream and maple syrup.
